Good morning folks!
On today’s Truth Factor Discussion, we will continue our study through 1 Corinthians, beginning with chapter 9, verse 11. Today’s discussion will begin at 11:00 AM CT. In 1 Corinthians 9:11-18, the apostle Paul continues showing his right to be supported by the gospel (although, while in Corinth, Paul had chosen to not receive financial support from the church). In verses 19-23, the apostle views himself as a servant towards all men so that he might “win the more” to the gospel of Jesus Christ. In verses 24-27, the apostle explains why he keeps his body (and its desires) under control. This self-control is absolutely necessary in order to receive the “imperishable crown.”
We hope you can join us today as we factor these inspired words of the apostle Paul into our daily lives.
Have a wonderful day!
