Psalms 101:1-4

Dear Brethren,

Good Afternoon!

Many people have good intentions; they set out to accomplish something good. Good intentions are beneficial as long as we follow through with the good actions.

David was a man of good intentions; intentions which we should mimic. Consider David's good intentions.
  • David said that he would "sing of mercy and justice," singing praises to the Lord.
  • David said that he would "behave wisely in a perfect way."
  • David also decided to "set nothing wicked before" his eyes."
  • David hated the "work of those who fall away."
While David had his challenges within his life, he was a man who followed through with his good intentions. Let us establish within our lives intentions to serve the Lord and to follow His ways.

Here is Psalms 101:1-4 presented for your consideration.

Psalms 101:1-4

1 I will sing of mercy and justice; To You, O LORD, I will sing praises.

2 I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

3 I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know wickedness.

In Love,

John Duvall
