Mark 10:13-16
Dear Brethren:
Children are amazing. They can be so honest and straight forward. At the same time, children are trusting and accepting. No matter what happens in life, children seem to be able to adapt and adjust.
The Lord desires His followers to be like children. Specifically, the Lord said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God." The kingdom of God is composed of people who look to the Lord with the trusting and acceptance of a little child. Those of the kingdom do not question the Lord; they simply obey Him.
As Christians, we must always continue to be as children in our service unto God. We must continue to trust the Lord, obeying Him without fail. Let us live as children of God should live.
Mark 10:13-16
13 Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.
In Love,
